for
Orphan Souls
Advent 2009
It was such a popular mission project last
year that the Outreach committee decided to make Shoes
for Orphan Souls the focus of our annual Giving Tree.
The Giving Tree will be set up in the main
hallway and is the collection point for children's shoes and
socks.
Shoes for Orphan Souls is the largest
humanitarian aid project of Buckner International, the
global Christian organization that seeks to make life better
for orphans, at-risk children and families.
We will be collecting shoes through Sunday
12/20.
As you do your Christmas shopping, please
think of those children who have never had a new pair of
shoes and how much you can enrich their lives. Each
pair of shoes represents a child.
