Chapel Hill UMC will be 50 years old July 12, 2009. We celebrate our anniversary for three days starting July 10th. Everyone is invited to participate.

July 10 Ice cream social at 7 pm

July 11 Open House at 4 pm.

             Dinner at 6 pm catered by Babes Chicken*

July 12 Celebration at 10:30am service with sermon by Methodist Bishop W. Earl Bledsoe followed by dedication of the Serenity Garden and burial of a time capsule.

Prior to the 10:30am Sunday service there will be an opening service at 9:30am at Cabell Elementary School, located across from the church. Cabell was where Chapel Hill services were held until the present Sanctuary was completed in 1961.

The church is located at 12411 Templeton Trail, next to the former RHD Hospital at Webb Chapel and LBJ.
