Adult Ministry
Our goal is to use Christ's life as our pattern to help you feel like you are inside the circle of faith and deeply connected. We're here to walk with you on your spiritual journey. You'll find that Chapel Hill UMC is a friendly church and this is a place where people really matter - after all, you matter to God. Worshiping, praying, studying, and serving together, we will learn to know Christ better.
Geared toward adult participation, the Adult Ministry's primary function is to serve the adult community within Chapel Hill UMC by providing disciple-building activities and studies with educational and spiritual focus.
Adult Ministry is composed of several Committees under one umbrella which provide and support a variety of educational training events and Bible studies, as well as adult activities and events. Adult Ministry also provides additional adult services within this umbrella group.
In an attempt to keep pace with the changing times, Adult Ministry provides support for Chapel Hill UMC Sunday School studies, as well as facilitates a variety of studies throughout the week. Adult Ministry provides a full calendar with a broad scope of timely services and events.
If you take time to look closely, you will find many ways where you can network with smaller groups of people. It's in small groups where we can develop meaningful and helpful relationships with others.
Pick out an area where you have interest to serve and come where the door is always open . . . come in and tell us where you want to participate, how you want to play a part in this service group, and when you want to start.
