Sunday, February 19, six of our nine confirmands hopped on a
van with Heidi Tolle and myself to head out to Trietsch
Memorial UMC for the annual Confirmation Celebration event.
We were joined by about 1,000 other confirmands and sponsors and invited to a fabulous party. We jumped in the giant bounce houses, ate a ton of pizza, learned about how it feels to have malaria and how we can help with eliminating malaria in Africa, laughed with a really funny spiritual comedian, made crafts, danced with a Disney team, and "shined" out our lights at the communion service with Bishop Bledsoe.
We have an exemplary confirmation class. I thank God for each of them.
