Chapel Hill UMC invites the community to join us on Sunday, February 22, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for our First Annual Chili Cook-Off at the church.
The event is open to anyone who has a killer chili recipe and to all eaters.
Cooks: Enter your own recipe for judging by a group of community leaders. Entrance fee is $20.00 for participants. (4 tickets are included in this fee.)
Eaters: Come sample some of the finest cooking this side of the Trinity! Admission is $5.00 per person or $20.00 per family. (There is rumbling that vegetarian chili will also be available.)
The famous Guns vs Hoses Competition will be one of the attractions. Come find out which group is the better set of cooks – the Farmers Branch Police Department or Farmers Branch Fire Department.
All proceeds go to the Music Ministry at Chapel Hill.
