Ministry Safe Training
It is time to renew Ministry Safe Training for most volunteers at Chapel Hill UMC.
If you have done this before:
VIDEO + QUIZ
If you currently have certification that is up for renewal or will be soon, then you should have received an email with a link to the video.
You have two choices:

You can click the link and follow it to the website where you will watch a video and take a quiz. OR
-
You can come to the church on November 15, 2014, and watch the video with the group. Then take the quiz.
BACKGROUND CHECK
You do not need to fill out any additional paperwork. Your background check will be renewed automatically.
You may donate $5 towards the background checks. Just indicate that on your donation envelope.
APPLICATION
You do not need to do this again. Once is enough.
If you have not done this before:
You will need to ask Dawn for a packet. This has all the information and paperwork included. You will be able to volunteer with children, youth, and other vulnerable people in our church for two years.
2014 Ministry Safe Round Up
November 15, 2014
9:00 a.m. – Video viewing in the sanctuary. (Only those that have not watched it at home.)
10:00 a.m. – Quizzes available for those that do not have e-mail or a computer to use.
10:20 a.m. – Overview of volunteering at Chapel Hill with Ministry Safe in place (everyone should come, new volunteers are required to attend).
10:45 a.m. – Questions and Answers
