Thank you note from Cabell Elementary:
We can’t thank you and your fellow members at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church enough for Volunteering and helping out with our school’s vision clinic (ESSILOR). You guys were great and we appreciate everything you’ve done.
Because of your kindness we were able to provide a vision exam and/or glasses for approximately 60 students on Tuesday (10/16/12).
We look forward to working with you for our next follow-up Vision Clinic. I will definitely contact you as soon as I receive a date.
Many, Many Thanks,

Heidi Tolle, Rachel Luna (our After-School Program Director), and Donna Hoisington were at Cabell Elementary keeping the students coming to the vision clinic and keeping the doctors very busy.
Pat Khoury and Dawn Self volunteered with the first Cabell Vision Clinic on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 1st and 2nd. They were terrific! Pat was in charge of writing information on hundreds and hundreds of forms. Dawn came Tuesday and was wonderful with children; getting them to the clinic, talking with them quietly while they waited, and getting them back to class.
Thank you so much for coming when needed.
We all had a great time with the children and each other. Now that we have experienced the vision clinic and know the process, the next clinic will be easier and just as much fun.
