Once a month during our Summer Day Camp under the watchful and loving eye of our Project Transformation interns, there is a Family Fun Night. It is an evening beginning at 6:00 pm for all the Summer Day Camp children and youth to come to the church with their families and have fun and fellowship together. More importantly, it is a golden opportunity for us to come and get acquainted with these precious children’s families and personally invite them to join us for Sunday worship.
Chapel Hill is partnered with five other larger Methodist churches who bring loads of volunteers to Chapel Hill to read with the children every day along with the volunteers that come from Chapel Hill. These partner churches are first asked if they will bring the meal for 150 folks for the family fun night. No takers this year so far. So I am sending out a plea for help. I will take care of the food.
I NEED VOLUNTEERS TO COME TO THE FELLOWSHIP HALL THIS THURSDAY, JUNE 27, 2013, AT 6:00 PM TO HELP ME SERVE 150 PEOPLE A PIZZA DINNER.
