We were happy to welcome Nicole Newkham to our worship service this Sunday, May 5, 2013, and hear her encouraging words about how we can support the Sack Summer Hunger program, sponsored by the Metrocrest Social Services. Nicole let us know that $45.00 would pay for one child’s food for the summer. The hearts of Chapel Hill were opened and we collected over $500.00.
Most of us have probably never been really hungry. Please continue to send your money gifts so that there will be no hungry children in our community. Blessings on those who have already given.
