The weather was near perfect, the company was lots of fun, and the charity (North Texas Food Bank) is one of the best.
Last Friday, March 7, 2014, was the 15th Annual Empty Bowls event at the Meyerson Symphony Center. Several adventurous souls took the DART light rail downtown, didn’t even get lost, and arrived on time!
There was a good variety of soups prepared by different restaurants and chefs across Dallas. It was very difficult to choose a favorite. However, everyone was able to make a choice from the hundreds of bowls donated by local artists.
Don’t miss next year’s Empty Bowls. There’s already a group from Chapel Hill who is planning to go again.
