The Fabulous Fifths met on Sunday night for the third time! We have been busy this week! The fifth graders will be going to the Bishop’s Rally on Sunday, February 15, 2015, with some of the older youth. They are very excited about this opportunity. They have been collecting children’s books to bring to the Rally so that they can donate them to the Little Free Libraries. We would like to thank Judy Bader and Half Price Books for their very generous donation of 5 boxes of books. We will be sorting through them on Saturday morning to get them ready for Sunday.
During our meeting, the fifth graders learned about how much God loves all of us, by using mathematical equations. When asked if they liked math, all of them said yes!!! So we gave it a shot. We conclude with mathematical certainty that:
While hard work and knowledge will get you close, and attitude will get you there, it’s the love of God that will put you over the top!
