Projects
Have you noticed brighter hallways, or while driving around the church, or even while in Sunday school, that you could see through the windows a little easier?? That’s because, over the last few Sundays, during our youth time, we have been helping the church complete projects that will make our building brighter and shinier. We changed the light bulbs in some of the light fixtures in the main hallways, and washed, scrubbed, and cleaned all of the exterior portions of the windows that face Myra, Templeton, the parking lot, and the playground. This has been part of us learning that we are part of something larger, and as youth of this church, we have just as much responsibility in maintaining the building as everyone else does.
Volunteers Needed
We need volunteers to provide dinner during UMYF throughout the rest of the summer. We also NEED volunteers to help with serving breakfast at Applebee’s on Saturday, July 25, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. We will be helping the waiters serve the guests, and wash their cars while they eat. If interested in one or both of these opportunities, please see the signup sheets outside the main office, or contact Bodie during the week. Volunteers can purchase a car wash and breakfast for $10. Invite family, friends, and everybody to this wonderful event!
