Dear Chapel Hill,
Please keep in your prayers the families of the shooting victims of Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina, the congregation of the Emanuel Church, and the people of South Carolina. In addition, since each of us has a voice to our families, neighbors and communities, I’m asking you to be a minister of love and reconciliation for the weak and vulnerable, in the name of Jesus Christ, against racial discrimination and hatred. Remember we are parts of the body of Christ and when one suffers, all suffer (1 Corinthians 12).
