Project Transformation Mission
The mission of Project Transformation is to engage young adults in purposeful leadership and ministry, support under served children and families, and connect churches to communities in need.
Since the founding in 1998, this ministry has been addressing three unique challenges with one program:
- 1) how to meet the academic, physical, and spiritual needs ofchildrenfrom low-income communities,
- 2) how to provide meaningful ways forcollege studentsto explore ministry opportunities and develop as young adult leaders for the church and the world, and
- 3) how to help revitalize struggling urbanchurches.
The project connects church to the community by engaging young adults in purposeful leadership and supporting under served children and families.
Chapel Hill Day Camp
This summer, Chapel Hill will host 130 children and youth. All are invited to get involved. It is a great summer program for children in a community church setting, to learn reading skills and grow in speaking/reading English. Community volunteers help provide reading skills and comprehension as they read various types of books! Volunteers read to small groups of different sizes and needs.
Lunch is provided for children along with a day program. Parents bring and pick up their child/children after enrolling in the program in advance, filling out a form for contact(s) information.

$20.00 per student
$50.00 per family
Summer Leaders in Training
High School Students are invited to apply!
We still have about 15-20 seats available for the Summer Project Transformation (PT) for High School students, Grades 10 through 12.
As part of Project Transformation, we offer an 8-week program for High School Students, called the “LITE” Program: Leaders in training. This year, the program will feature a customized curriculum in partnership with Accenture and the Dallas Regional Chamber. This robust curriculum will include several guest presenters from the Dallas Regional Chamber and the wider community, and will focus on college/career readiness, writing workshops, critical thinking, financial literacy, technology and media literacy, ethics, diversity, and global awareness.
