Meet our Project Transformation After School Program site coordinator: Caitlin Harris
Hello! My name is Caitlin Harris, and I graduated in May 2015 from Southwestern College (Winfield, KS) with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. I am originally from Edmond, Oklahoma. I have served at Project Transformation for three summers as an Elementary Intern/Member. In 2011, I served in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and the past two summers (2014-2015) I served in Dallas at Grace UMC and Casa Linda UMC. PT is important to me because it has helped to confirm my calling in life and that calling is to serve and love others. It has also introduced me to a wide variety of vocations and an amazing and diverse group of individuals who I had the privilege to work with during these previous summers. Project Transformation provides a fun and safe environment for kids to improve their literacy skills and to learn more about themselves and the community/world around them. Right now, I am excited to get started and to meet everyone! I am also excited to develop relationships with the children and families I will be serving and with the Chapel Hill UMC congregation. I am so blessed to be able to serve Chapel Hill UMC and their community this ASP year.
