We have a garden angel who mysteriously appeared one evening and weeded our flower garden, cut back the plants, and watered everything down. We owe them a debt of gratitude for this as charge conference is being hosted by Chapel Hill this year and it will make our entrance much cleaner and more inviting. If our garden angel does no attend church anywhere, we would welcome them to our worship, fellowship time, and obviously, any time when you can use your gift for gardening. A special thanks to Faye and Jim for cleaning and organizing the coffee bar. They discovered a healthy supply of several thing and cleared many of the items whose shelf life had expired. It is heartwarming when members see things that need to be done and jump in to take care of it! After all, the church belongs to all of us and we want it to be inviting at all times. “Ask not what your church can do, but rather what you can do for your church.” Blessings on all this Thanksgiving season.
