Some have asked what does it mean when we have a “ break fast” meal at our church? It literally means just that. Since the church for centuries has a practice of fasting (eating only one big meal) on Ash Wednesday, Chapel Hill will a have a meal that we will eat together to break the fast we have observed that day. Be sure to put a note on your calendar and come to break-fast at 6:15 pm on Ash Wednesday, February 10, right before the Ash Wednesday worship at 7:00 pm. I hope you invite your friends and neighbors to come to eat and worship with us that evening.
