The season for our After School Program has started up and our team is here! Here is a little about them so that we can know who is helping support the ministry of our church for the 2016-2017 school year. Check them out!
Christina Dowell
My name is Christina Dowell and I am a freshman at Dallas Christian College. I am currently studying Psychology and my plans with that is to become a counselor with a focus on homeless or low income families. My passion is to help those in need. I really love working with kids and helping them have a better grasp on things they may not understand in life. My goal with working at Project Transformation is to help kids grow and learn more about themselves.
Derek Champion
Hi my name is Derek Champion. I am a student at Richland College studying my core classes so that I can find my passion in life. I am excited about this year because I love to work with the kids. This past summer was a blast, so I want to continue to work with them and have fun doing it!
Sarah Vatteroni
My name is Sarah Vatteroni. I go to University of North Texas and my major is Education I hope to be a teacher one day. I worked with Project Transformation over the summer and I am so glad that I got hired to work with the After School Program. I am so excited to be working with your children and I can’t wait to see them grow.
Danny Wakeham
My name is Taniela (Danny) Wakeham. I’m going to become an EMT/Firefighter after this year of year of Project Transformation. I’m the site coordinator at the church this year and I’m so honored to be here. I hope throughout this year I can make some differences in this community and with these amazing children.
