A need in our congregation arose a little bit ago and everyone who was contacted rose to the occasion with loving hearts. I was contacted about the possibility of the Nurture Committee providing meals for an extended time. No one flinched: The Committee jumped on board, and so did a few non-committee members. I should not have been surprised, but it is such a warm fuzzy moment for me to see the congregation once again show their true colors. I thank God daily for Chapel Hill and the opening of your hearts when needed. The family is most appreciative of this kindness! When the church responds to a request from one of our families, it is AWESOME. All of the meals that were offered with the love which is a trademark of CHUMC, were received with thankfulness. Thanks to all who were part of this ministry.
