In January, Rev. Magruder and six others made the trip to Lesvos, the Greek island, where refugees are landing by the thousands.
Rev. Magruder, pastor of Kessler Park UMC in Dallas came away awed by the scale of the situation. Rev. Magruder will give us an overview of the refugee problem from firsthand experience and how the Methodist church is playing a role in finding solutions. His presentation will include how refugee settlement works in the US and information about the current global refugee crisis.
