The February Monthly Outreach Project benefits Genesis Women’s Shelter and Support. When women come in for counseling and support, many times they return home to where there is very little to eat. Genesis tries to fill the gap by offering “Dinner Bags.” The food provided is usually for one or two simple meals. Your donations will help Genesis provide more Dinner Bags to the clients and their children.
Here is the list of specific food items that are needed:
- Peanut Butter
- Mac ‘n Cheese
- Rice
- Green Beans or Corn
- Soup
- Pasta
- Canned Tomatoes
- Canned Beans
