We are continuing our sermon series Lessons from… The Circle Maker: Praying Circles Around Your Biggest Dreams and Greatest Fears this Sunday! To help you remember the a little bit of where we left off, the first sermon was about “The Legend of the Circle Maker,” where we began learning about Honi. During his time, there had been no Jewish prophets and no miracles for 400 years. He drew a circle and prayed for rain to help his community, and it came. His bold prayer was answered and that is what God wants from us, to have bold prayers and draw circles around them. We have just begun to draw circles and to learn about the legend behind them, and we will learn how to “Dream Big” this coming Sunday. How might we as a church begin to dream big together?
