Our next sermon series, “Lessons from… The Circle Maker: Prayer Circles Around Your Biggest Dreams and Greatest Fears,” will have us diving into Mark Batterson’s book, The Circle Maker. Mark Batterson takes his readers on a journey to reimagine the way we pray through the story of Honi the Circle Maker. We will go through Honi’s story together and understand why we should all be Circle Makers.
One of the pillars of our faith is prayer. Prayer by ourselves, prayer as a group, and prayer as a community. But is prayer a tool or a beginning for us? Or something that we do as a ritual? When you think of the dream that God is calling you to, is your first instinct Prayer?
This series will be a time for us to be called to prayer as the foundation of all we do. We will dream dreams of the future and pray circles asking God to help make them happen. Join us this Sunday as we start to imagine our dreams and find a way for God to help us accomplish them.
