Tickets are now on sale for the UMW Spring Luncheon with Sarah Boones’ review of The Mockingbird Next Door, Life with Harper Lee by Marj Mills. This gives us an interesting perspective of the life of Harper Lee and her early book, To Kill a Mockingbird. A later book and recent best seller Go Set a Watchman, coincided with the death of Ms. Lee, however, she will be remembered for these two very distinct novels.
The luncheon worker bees are busy putting together festive looking tables accented with spring flowers and bird houses.
