Ciao! My name is Maddie Davis and I am a Latin student. I am traveling to Italy with my Latin group to learn about contemporary Italian society, the North-South divide, and the effect of regionalism on the current political landscape. We will explore the Italian architectural evolution from Byzantine Venice to the Renaissance Duomo in Florence to the Baroque colonnades of St. Peter’s Square in Rome. We will also learn what life was like during the height of the Roman Empire through experiences in the Colosseum and Pompeii.
We will depart March 8th and return March 17th. Your donation will allow me the opportunity to travel abroad and become a global citizen.
