Greetings! I write to you this week with mixed emotions …a bit of sadness seasoned with the joy of hope. This coming Sunday, I will say farewell to Chapel Hill Church. Three years ago you welcomed me with smiles, hugs, and open arms. I have enjoyed my time amongst you, and I believe God has accomplished some things during our work together. I will miss y’all.
Thank you for your patience, your understanding, your support, and your cooperation over the last three years. I have learned from you, and perhaps you have learned a little bit from me as well.
I trust you will continue to strive to be help, hope, and home for all the community. I pray that you will continue loving, learning, and living together just as God has called us to do. I hope that you will always remember that “You are Chapel Hill!”
I will continue to serve, and seek God’s will in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas. Please pray for me. I will certainly pray for you.
I look forward to seeing you all this coming Sunday, as we say farewell to each other. Until then… May the Lord Bless you, and may the Lord keep you. May the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
