Well, CHUMC Family, we continue to worship online and hope you are finding our online worship helpful during this time, even though it is not the same as in-person worship. In recent weeks, you may have noticed we are back to providing announcement slides for worship. With this in mind, you may have something coming up at CHUMC you would like to promote. We ask, if you do, that you keep in mind our Communications Plan that was released earlier this year.
The Communications Plan ensures that we promote Zoom meetings and other sanctioned items in a timely manner while managing the length of time we spend making announcements on Sunday. This will also allow you to make timely newsletter announcements and have things posted on Facebook. If you need a new copy of the Communications Plan, email Alec and Adam at office@chapelhillumc.org.
Scheduling was included in this plan as well. This remains important even though we are not using our building as we need to be sure we do not double book our Zoom accounts when people need to meet online. You can schedule your Zoom call by emailing details to Alec and Adam.
