Well, friends, we have ten days remaining in Advent 2020. That means Christmas Eve is around the corner.
Last week we advised we would be gathering outdoors in the courtyard at 7 pm. However, after further conversations and our monthly worship meeting, we have determined it is best to start at 5 pm. We ask that all participants enter the North wing of the CHUMC campus at the door to the prayer labyrinth and then enter the courtyard through the HUB Cokesbury classroom. In the courtyard, we will have chairs arranged in pods so we can safely gather safely, with masks and social distancing, and worship with congregational singing.
Weather permitting, we look forward to seeing you in the courtyard at 5 pm on Christmas Eve.
For those of you who are unable to attend our outdoor Christmas Eve worship, we will provide an online Christmas Eve worship at 7 pm on Facebook and YouTube.
We know this season has not been as usual, but it is our hope that we can provide one another some measure of joy as we celebrate the incarnation and anticipate the return of Jesus the Christ.
