What is Laity Sunday? Once a year a Sunday is set aside in the Methodist church for a Sunday dedicated to the leaders of the church. As your lay leader, this year it is my responsibility and honor to arrange that Sunday. We are fortunate to have so many strong lay leaders that it is easy to find people to fill those positions. This year is a little different due to the pandemic, but it will still happen in a meaningful way.
As advertised the last few weeks, our guest speaker is Patrice Pike, a singer from Austin. She will share her ministry through music and “Step Onward”, an outreach to homeless youth. Please invite your friends and family and come this Sunday, Oct. 31st to hear her inspiring ministry.
