The remaining weeks of October provide a number of special guests who will be sharing their time and gifts with us in worship.
On October 10th, the worship band from Synergy Wesley Foundation at the University of Texas at Dallas will be leading worship. Their Executive Director and Campus Minister Brittany Burrows will be preaching.
October 24th is Children’s Sabbath. Our CHUMC children, along with our children’s ministry volunteers, will be leading worship on this day.
October 31st is Laity Sunday. Patrice Pike, a musician out of Austin, will sing and share with us about her Step Onward Foundation which helps those suffering from childhood and young adult homelessness.
In addition to these special guests, we also have a number of baptisms planned.
