You all know Alec McKay, our Chapel Hill office manager. He started as our co-office manager sharing the position with Adam Richards and took over the role in its entirety when Adam left to focus more on seminary and served as the Synergy Wesley student minister at the Brookhaven Campus of Dallas College.
Alec obtained a degree in 3D computer modeling, but the pandemic delayed his job search. Multiple times since 2020, companies were ready to offer Alec a position only to choose not to fill the position due to the economic situation caused by the pandemic.
Well, as the economy has recovered and Alec persisted in his job search, Alec has found a job in his preferred field. His last day in the office will be Friday, February 25. We will have a reception in honor of Alec and his service to Chapel Hill UMC on Sunday, March 6.
We are incredibly thankful for the time and effort Alec has shared with us and will be praying for a blessed future as he begins his career.
