Happy New Year!
The year 2022 is upon us. As we start to read through our holy scriptures together, I want to share a few resources with you that may help you out.
First, remember we can get you the devotional book that will go with the daily readings for $19. Please let us know if you need help with the cost. Also, the printed Reading and Worship Plan is available in the CHUMC Narthex or you can purchase a copy of the NRSV Daily Bible.
Second, if you would like some video tools to guide you in your reading, you can go to our Amplify Media web channel:
- Go to https://my.amplifymedia.com/amplify
- When asked for the access code enter: BWRFNC
- Set up a free account- once you have set up your account and logged in, search The Bible Year
- Click on the icon for The Bible Year
- There you will find the videos for the first 13 weeks of The Bible Year.
Third, you can find a podcast for The Bible Year at:
https://hydeparkumc.org/adult-groups/the-bible-project-2020/
Once there, you can scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and find the podcast for the year’s worth of readings. This podcast is from Hyde Park UMC’s Bible Year project last year that they are sharing with anyone else doing the The Bible Year themselves. You can also find this anywhere you listen to podcasts by searching “The Bible Project 2020.”
Also, keep an eye on our Facebook page and maybe our Twitter feed as the readings and other resources may show up there throughout the year as well.
