At Chapel Hill, we believe that being together is important. Of course, we gather for Worship and Study but something special happens when we gather for a meal, or a service opportunity or even a meeting. It is during those times that we become a family. We offer groups and activities for all age groups and believe that encouraging and supporting one another continues to help Chapel Hill to be a home for all.
Our Adult Groups:
Here at Chapel Hill, adults can find a variety of opportunities to get involved and learn as a community. Through Bible Study, Sunday School, or a variety of other groups that meet so that everyone can continue to build relationships and learn together. They include:
Adult Sunday School Classes
We offer a variety of Sunday School Classes for all ages at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church! There is something for everyone here. Sunday School takes place before worship from 9:15am – 10:15am in various classrooms in the adult wing. Click here for more information on the different Sunday School Classes.

Thursday Night Bible Study
We have a weekly Bible study in our ABC Classroom at 7 pm. It includes food and a wonderful discussion of the current curriculum. Be sure to contact us for more information about the curriculum or the class.
Our Youth Groups:
The Student Ministry at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church exists to create lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe that our leaders are not only ministering to our students, but with them as well. All students in the 6th through 12th grades are invited to join us in growing their relationship with God and others.
For questions or more information, please email Brandi Loggins at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Come join us for fun, fellowship, and food! UMYF (United Methodist Youth Fellowship) takes place on Sunday nights from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Our lessons are based on Practical Theology- letting your light shine and applying the teachings of Christ to your everyday life.
Every Sunday morning, Sunday School takes place from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in the Youth Room. While UMYF is more action-based, Sunday School is more knowledge-based. Our Sunday School lessons allow students to gain Biblical knowledge while learning to interpret Biblical lessons in a way that applies to them today.
Our Children’s Groups:
In Children’s Ministry, our primary goal is to partner with parents as they teach their children to KNOW God. Our lessons, music, and crafts are designed to teach children who God is—His nature and attributes—and what He has done. We encourage kids to learn as much as they can about their awesome God by studying the Bible for themselves.
Every Sunday morning, we provide Sunday School from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Children should be dropped off and picked up from the age appropriate classroom. A nursery is provided for children age 0-2 with age appropriate Sunday School lessons in the form of stories and music. Children in 1st – 5th grade gather in the Garden Room for lesson introduction and then are taken to different classrooms for activities with that lesson. This rotational curriculum uses an art room and a Bible Times presentation room. The children learn about a different theme each month.
At Chapel Hill, there is a place for all children to discover and use their creative gifts in our music ministry. Our Children’s Choir meets after worship on Sunday. Click Here for more information.
