At Chapel Hill, we believe that being together is important. Of course, we gather for Worship and Study but something special happens when we gather for a meal, a service opportunity, or even a meeting. It is during those times that we become a family. We offer groups and activities for all age groups and believe that encouraging and supporting one another continues to help Chapel Hill to be a home for all.
Our Adult Groups:
Here at Chapel Hill, adults can find a variety of opportunities to get involved and learn as a community. Through Bible Study, Sunday School, or a variety of other groups that meet so that everyone can continue to build relationships and learn together. They include:

Our Youth Group:
The Student Ministry at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church exists to create lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ. All students in the 6th through 12th grades are invited to join us in growing their relationship with God and others.
For questions or more information, please email Kate Whitaker Hendrick at familyministries@chapelhillumc.org.
Youth Group
Come join us for dinner, games, and a lesson! Youth group takes place on Sunday nights from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Lessons will help the youth understand the Bible, theology, God, and themselves, so that they will be faithful and loving disciples of Christ for their entire lives.
Sunday School
Every Sunday morning, Sunday School takes place from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in the Youth Room. Our Sunday School lessons allow students to gain biblical knowledge and tools to interpret biblical lessons in a way that applies to them today.
Our Children’s Groups:
In Children’s Ministry, our primary goal is to partner with parents as they teach their children to KNOW God. Our lessons, music, and crafts are designed to teach children who God is—His nature and attributes—and what He has done. We encourage kids to learn as much as they can about their awesome God by studying the Bible for themselves.
Sunday School
Every Sunday morning, we provide Sunday School from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Children should be dropped off and picked up from the age appropriate classroom. A nursery is provided for children age 0-2 with age appropriate Sunday School lessons in the form of stories and music. Children in 1st – 5th grade gather in the Garden Room for lesson introduction and then are taken to different classrooms for activities with that lesson. This rotational curriculum uses an art room and a Bible Times presentation room. The children learn about a different theme each month.
Children’s Choir
At Chapel Hill, there is a place for all children to discover and use their creative gifts in our music ministry. Our Children’s Choir meets after worship on Sunday. Click Here for more information.
