At Chapel Hill, we believe in following Christ’s example by being servant leaders. We are connected to many different organizations that serve Farmers Branch and the Metroplex area. We fully believe that we are God’s hands and feet in this world, building the kingdom that is to come. As part of the greater United Methodist Church, we support the many of the ministries of the Church including UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief).

Cabell Outreach

Chapel Hill UMC works closely with the staff to help meet the needs of the special students at Cabell. Their school is continuing to be advance in the way that it helps the children of our community. We continue to support their work by helping with the many things that they need including, volunteers, their community garden, and helping with supplies.
Communion Offering

Our Monthly Communion Offering is taken up on the first of every month during Communion. It is used to support the missions and ministries that are happening outside our church. We hope to support the many ministries that go on in our community.
Community Garden

Chapel Hill partnered with the City of Farmers Branch to begin a Community Garden on the property west of CHUMC. It is a place for anyone to come and create a garden space together. Outreach Opportunities

Opportunities and activities where volunteers are needed to serve at The Bridge, participate in the CROP Walk, help at Metrocrest in the food pantry, Sack Summer Hunger or the Holiday Store, etc.
Mission Outreach Program (MOP)

A monthly mission project that the church brings items to support the community. These range from our own community to the many ministries and missions that we help serve. The items are asked for in the last half of the month and can be found in our newsletter or Here.
