We are excited to add two new confirmands to our group. Harper and Jackson are friends of Riley. Sunday, we learned more about the history of the Methodist Church in America. We were introduced to the Methodist Church’s founding father, John Wesley. Claim the Name, our curriculum, has a unique “clay-mation” film about the history of American Methodists which we all enjoyed. John Wesley said that the essence of being a Methodist was holiness of heart and life. The love of God is the root of holiness and it comes from our relationship with God.
