Adult Vacation Bible School
August 5-9, 2013
9:00 am to 12:00 pm
This year’s theme for the ADULT Vacation Bible School is VBS 2013 – Everywhere Fun Fair. Our meetings begin Monday, August 5th through 9th. We meet in Fellowship Hall from 9:00 am until about 12:00 pm each day.
Our ADULT group meets to get everything prepared for the Children’s Vacation Bible School the following week, August 11 – 15. Our meetings are very informal with a focus on creating the materials that go with teaching our CHUMC children.
This year, Rev. Mai Le is helping present the Leader portion of the meeting which introduces a prayer, Scripture and overview of the day and I will be helping present different portions of each day’s lesson. We have invited Iris Shivar to demonstrate some of the scientific experiments that will be used to teach the children the following week at Children’s Vacation School.
