Lenten Study 2013
Thanks to all who supported the Lenten Study, Adam Hamilton’s The Way: Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus.
The study began with Pat Moore and Sherry Vineyard and moved through the six chapters with delightful, informative study delivered by Judy Bader, Vin Scheihagen, Fred Maxwell, Kay Bandy, and Jack Portman.
We studied and shared together, prayed together, and came away knowing more about our Lord and Savior than when we first gathered. We were truly blessed.
Thanks to everyone who attended to learn and to those who delivered Hamilton’s messages!
Lenten Journey 2013
The wondrous Lenten Journey 2013 was held again this year at Chapel Hill UMC. If you attended, you know you felt the Holy Spirit move you. If you did not attend, you will have a chance to attend a Lenten Journey in the Metroplex in 2014. Churches see the value . . . come next year and see the value for yourself. It refreshes us every succeeding year in new and special ways!
A special thanks to Nancy Hartman for being the Chairwoman of the event this year, 2013, keeping everything and everyone on target. And thanks to her gracious committee who provided the eight “stations” where the last words of Jesus are expressed: Rev. JoNell Lindh, Kim Rangel, Felice Ricks, Kay Bandy, Howard Stansell, and, of course, yours truly, Sherry Vineyard.
