We returned on July 31 to a cheering crowd of church friends and family. What a way to arrive back home! Thank you!
We are so delighted to be back home safe and sound — to see and appreciate the conveniences of home, to reunite with our family and friends, and to be able to share the great news of our mission with you.
We were successful in building and dedicating 2 homes in Chicumbane, Mozambique: 1 home was for a young mother, Pernina, who is disabled — she has the use of 1 hand and 1 foot, she has 3 children and the other home for a young mother, Celeste, who has 6 children.
We felt the presence of our great Lord in Mozambique, we felt your prayers and thoughts as we traveled, worked and fellowshipped — we took you, our church family with us, and we are so thankful for all of the people who helped us get there. We had no major incidences, other than a few cases of the stomach bug and a little scrambling at the South African border.
We are hosting the 5th Sunday presentation next month and would love for you to come out and join us — it truly is a wonderful story. We will be putting in newsletter articles periodically until then from some of our team member’s favorite memories. Stay tuned until next week!
