Blessing of the Animals This Sunday!
All animals, and their people, belong to God. Our pets are so dear to us, providing us companionship, and many hours of joy and comfort.
Animals are truly a wonderful blessing and an amazing creation from God. Chapel Hill’s Blessing of the Animals will take place on Sunday, November 3, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. in the church courtyard.
This is a special time when you can bring your pets—on a leash or in a carrier—to the church for a meaningful and fun blessing experience.
This is open to the entire community, so invite lots of two-legged and four-legged friends!
If your pet cannot make it, you can still come and bring a photo of your pet!
Time to prepare for the food pantry collection.
The children will be building a Succoth booth in the sanctuary on November 10, 2013, during Sunday school.
The non-perishable food collected will go to the Metrocrest Food Pantry.
The elementary children’s mission trip to deliver the food and help out at Metrocrest will be Monday, November 25, 2013, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Children who have school on that day should come straight to the church from school. The van will leave at 3:20 p.m. to go to Metrocrest. We are scheduled to leave Metrocrest at 5:30 p.m. There will be a family dinner afterwards. Please sign up for each activity at the hall table or email me.
