In response to studying the Social Principles of the United Methodist Church, our four confirmands planted lantana plants in the small gardens below each of the windows on the Children’s Wing side of our church on Sunday, April 21, 2013. Watch for their bright yellow flowers as they grow and mature.
We embrace our commission to be good stewards of God’s creation and celebrated Earth Day by planting these flowers. The confirmands are learning and blooming in their faith as we journey towards Confirmation Sunday on May 12.
