I selected this from my personal diary to share with you. This is my first day on a plane. We are traveling from Dallas to London.
“The television is on, but it doesn’t interest me. Everyone is asleep and I’ve finished my book. I’m looking out the window. The water is congregated outside. I wait on edge for a break in the clouds and then, everything is so beautiful.
The earth looks like a patchwork of varying heights and colors. It sparkles in the night with lights showing where all the cities are and where the population is less dense. In my head I hear: ‘This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine’ and I am reminded of a poem : “When you let your own light shine you unconsciously give others permission to do the same.” Shine lights shine. The moon lights the ocean in a serene but powerful way. The reflective qualities of the moon are something to admire in all of its grandeur – And a thought came to me: It is our responsibility to reflect the Light of God. All creation shows how the Light and Love of God is reflected upon the universe. Each star has a light that shines forth and dispels the darkness and separates itself….”
‘From a distance the world looks blue and green….God is watching us from a distance.’… and He saw that it was good
Blessings to you and yours,
