It’s time to invite your friends and family to our annual United Methodist Women’s Luncheon. It is on May 4, 2013 at 11:30 AM in Fellowship Hall with the theme, “Memories Are Made of This.” Our guestspeaker is Jill Beam, daughter of Rosemary Rumbley. She will discuss “Growing Up with the Rumbleys” as she shares her memories.
Various members have adopted tables and will decorate them with things from their past. As always, the tables will be one of the highlights of the luncheon. If you have friends that you would like to sit with, please give those names to Jan Wooldridge and check with the hostess so we can easily accommodate everyone. Heidi Tolle has graciously offered to do a Salad Luncheon Cookbook, so please bring the recipe of the salad that you bring that day. Also, double the recipe so we will have plenty of food for our guests.
Tickets for the luncheon are $10.00 and are on sale now, so please buy them ahead of time so we can get an accurate count of attendees. The cookbook will be $3.00 and you must order your cookbook and pay for it on the day of the luncheon.
