UMYF will begin collecting donations for KIDS IN A BOX on Sunday, September 15, 2013. Last year, we were able to contribute $700 in supplies and art purchases to the Stewpot’s Art Program. This year, we would like to contribute as much or more to a charity that makes birthday parties possible for children in shelters. Please consider what you would like to donate, as you budget your blessings this month.
The evening of Saturday, September 14, 2013, the Youth will give a brief presentation of their activities during the last year. They will be serving a free meal to thank the congregation for their support and volunteer efforts.
On Saturday, September 21, 2013, will be the overnight Kids in a Box Event. If you would like to participate as a chaperone or activity leader, please contact Heidi this week!
