WOW! Vacation Bible School really was a Workshop of Wonders. Caring for others and sharing what we have is part of “working with God”, “growing with God”, “walking with God”, “building with God”, and imagining with God”.
Children, Vacation Bible School leaders, and parents shared during VBS, giving for missions to Heifer International.
Our offering of $160.00 will help Heifer International with the means that farming families need in Zambia, Africa to help themselves and other farming families! A goat helps a family with food and much more; they give us cheeses and milk, and mohair for our sweaters and scarves. Sheep’s milk gives feta and Roquefort cheeses and the lanolin oil from the sheep’s wool helps keep our skin soft and not dry and rough.
Vacation Bible School children were excited when they learned on the last night that they could purchase a goat and two flocks of chicks.
