As you may know in December the air conditioning unit on the Children’s Wing broke and flooded the nursery requiring us to move our youngest ones to another room.
Trustees have been researching several options to get air conditioning working again for the Children’s Wing and should have a solution very soon. Once that is resolved and we know that there will not be any more flooding, trustees can begin renovation of the nursery.
The proceeds from the BBQ will go toward the renovation but we need additional help. At the BBQ, you will see an “angel tree” for our nursery with a variety of ways you can help. You will have the opportunity to select an item or items from the tree and make a cash donation for the value of your selection. No shopping to do just give cash or check to CHUMC for the amount needed to purchase the items of your choice.
For example, you might pay for a gallon of paint, a new chair, new toy or a portion of the new carpet. No gift is too small. Think about how you might give and look for the tree at the BBQ.
Help our babies get back into their fresh “new” room.
