Companions in Christ Class

Chapel Hill UMC Library
The beginning of a new calendar year is a time when we often reassess direction and ask questions yet again about whom we are and where we are going in life. We make resolutions, we sign up at the gym (again), and we vow to be better people.
This year we will take a deep journey into the question, “Who Are You?” We will discover that “who we are” is indelibly linked to “Whose we are.” What amazing things could happen if you lived into your best, most passionate, loving self?
Let’s find out what transformations can happen in just 9 weeks!
Come and join us at Chapel Hill UMC Monday, January 27, 2014, at 10:00 a.m.

Seeds of Motivation: Winning from Within
Continued from last week
Motivation is an inner force that compels behavior. Your inner drives will propel you further and faster than external perks.
It’s not the experience of today that causes us the most stress; it’s the regret for something we didn’t do yesterday.
Motivation is motive in action.
The most important opinion you’ll ever have is the one you hold of yourself.
