Job Description
We are currently seeking a part-time Director of Worship and Music.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Implementation of Chapel Hill’s vision, mission, and strategy in the music and worship ministry.

Leading Sunday morning worship.

Music leader of the adult choir, handbell choir, youth and children’s choirs.

Music planning and crafting the themes for each service in conjunction with the senior pastor.

Training and nurturing choir members of various ages to ensure that the worship music communicates the worshiping spirit and provides an opportunity for an authentic encounter of God’s presence.
Requirements:

A heart for God and a call to worship and music ministry.
-
Strong interpersonal skills; organization and planning skills.

Proven experience (at least 3 years) in leading worship with various age-level choir members.

Degree in music education preferred
