My faith has been restored!
Last week, we were trying to get some furniture moved by senior citizens who should not be attempting chores such as this. A couple of the young PT interns jumped at the chance to be useful & hoisted that furniture like it was a bag of feathers. When your doctor tells you not to lift heavy things or climb ladders anymore, little things mean a lot.
These two young men are the same ones you saw helping with the garage sale last month, again helping load furniture and on their time as it was a weekend event.
Our thanks to other interns who are in the process of cleaning out the Resource room. Our interns for PT are not only pitching in and helping out, they are setting examples for our young protégées, but more on that later.
Oh yes, truly it takes a village.
