The Tour of Lights begins on Friday, December 19, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. at the Historical Park, Farmers Branch. The Chancel Choir will be singing and will arrive at 6:00 p.m. Fred Maxwell will be our Santa Claus.
We have several volunteers to help direct and count traffic as well as greet the cars as they travel though the park. Anybody who wants to come and join in the caroling or greeting is welcome (must be 16 or older).
Volunteers need to come down Farmers Branch Lane from Josey and enter on the East side of the gate. You need to tell the gatekeepers (sometime policemen) that you are a volunteer, and they will let you in.
We meet at the Dodson House and sing at the porch on the back of the school house. It is great fun and an easy way to raise money.
