Peter said, “I have no silver or gold, but what I have I give you; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, stand up and walk.” (Acts 3:6)
The theme for Sunday School this month is Dance for Joy! The children had a great time learning about the Book of Acts. Peter and John gave a man, lame since birth a gift more valuable than silver and gold. They learned that Jesus used Peter and John to heal the man. He was able to walk, leap and praise GOD and the people were amazed! Ms. Evelyn, Ms. Barb, and Ms. Kandy are amazing Sunday School teachers! The children learn a lot each week. They are taught how to look up the different stories in the bible, work on creative art projects, and experienced what it would be like to be handicapped. The children always look forward to Sunday School each week!
The children in the nursery are also hard at work learning about the love of Jesus! They have been learning about how Jesus showed his love to the children by welcoming them and embracing them. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me.” (Matthew 19:14) Jesus loves me. And Jesus loves the little children of the world.
